MAISON THE FAUX – AW16 – ‘Annaanna-Annaanna’

In January 2016 Maison the Faux presented their AW16 collection ‘AnnaAnna-AnnaAnna’ during Mercedes-Benz Amsterdam Fashion Week. As with every season it was a crazy and fabulous performance. Maison the Faux turned their collection into a complete fashion week madness experience. While the crowd was lined up between fences with no idea on what to expect in the silver mirrored house, a complete chaos was created by the Maison the Faux crew.

This season we collaborated with Texperium for recycled yarn. The yarn was made of 40% recycled post-consumer jeans. For this collection we developed two jacquards. Inspired by wrinkled silver paper we created a jacquard with a 3D effect. For yarns we used shiny silver lurex combined with a white polyester and a recycled yarn with lycra. This jacquard was used for the long sleeve top and legging.
For the second knit we created a two coloured jacquard with the MTF logo. The long sleeve logo top and legging is made of recycled yarn with 100% mercerised cotton in nude. The logo scarf is made of 100% black merino wool and 100% nude mercerised cotton.
