KNITWEAR LAB is a well-known research and knowledge hub specialized in innovative, sustainable and design-driven knitwear solutions. We educate the next generation of knitwear programmers and designers. We share our extensive research and experience through online modules, courses and custom-made programs.
Learn more about designing, programming and manufacturing industrial knitwear! In this custom course you will be introduced to our LAB, the M1plus® pattern software and you will get a demonstration on our STOLL flat bed knitting machines. During the course you will learn the basics of how to develop industrially made knitwear, get in touch with yarns and sustainable materials and you can discover our swatch library.
The program is practice oriented and organized at our KNITWEAR LAB in Almere (in the proximity of Amsterdam).

All our custom courses can be adjusted to the knowledge level of the team/group. If you would like to gain more advanced knowledge and practical experience after completing the custom course, you can follow our 5-day course program.
KNITWEAR LAB has become an important player in the world of design and industrial knitwear. For many years we’ve been developing innovative, sustainable and design-driven knitwear solutions for brands and companies from different industries (apparel, shoes, medical and technical textiles among others).
Our team of experienced programmers and designers will introduce you to industrial knitwear fundamentals and introduce you to the STOLL knitting machines.
The content of this custom course is suitable for design professionals and groups of students, who would love to gain more in-depth knowledge about designing, developing and producing industrially made knitwear with focus on sustainable methods. Note this course will only be given to groups, no individuals.
