We are an open and fair company, proud to make nice and honest products. We trust you and we hope you trust us. We will always try to solve any problems that might arise between us.
The following Terms & Conditions shall govern the sale between KNITWEAR LAB and the buyer. By placing orders with knitwearlab.nl, it is deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to our Terms & Conditions. If you find any subject in the Terms & Conditions not acceptable, please contact KNITWEAR LAB before placing your order.
PRICES & VAT
All prices are retail prices and are stated in EURO. Prices are displayed including Dutch VAT (21%). Shipment to all countries within the European Union is processed on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price.
If you order products to be delivered outside the EU, they may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the final destination. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. For further information if needed, please contact your local customs office before placing an order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for a breach of any such laws by you.
Please be advised that we reserve the right to deduct, from any refund due to the customer’s wish, the costs incurred by us for the return shipment of products refused by the customer at customs in the destination country.
We offer the following secure payment methods through Mollie: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and iDEAL. KNITWEAR LAB reserves the right to delay or cancel any order if fraud is suspected.
STOCK AND AVAILABILITY
Almost all products are usually in stock and will be shipped the next working day after we receive the payment. If your order is not in stock, we will knit your product(s) as soon as possible and send it.
SHIPMENT / DELIVERY
Your order will be shipped within Europe with PostNL or DHL. Orders outside Europe are shipped with the courier that can guarantee a delivery within 3-10 working days after order placement when the payment is done.
Depending on stock availability, your order will be prepared for shipment on the next working day (Monday until Friday). All delivery times are estimated depending on the carrier:
The Netherlands: 1-3 working days
Within Europe: 2-10 working days
Outside Europe: 3-12 working days
We ship our products all over the world. The shipping costs depend on the type of product you buy from us. Please check during the checkout in your cart, which shipping costs apply for your order destination.
For all our customers: you are very welcome to visit KNITWEAR LAB and pick up your order yourself.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders made with one payment, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to an order or cancel it, we will notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate customer information for all purchases made in our store. You agree to promptly update your information, including your email address, bank card numbers and expiration dates, in order for us to be able to complete your transactions and contact you when needed.
I did not receive a confirmation email, what do I do?
You should always receive an email regarding your order. Please check your junk mail and spam folder if you did not receive an email from us. If not, please contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org We will do our very best to assist you.
Can I change or cancel the order?
If you wish to change or cancel your order please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com We will do our very best to assist you.
If you have been charged the wrong amount at the checkout, we will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. We, however, reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case, we will notify you by phone or e-mail. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically canceled.
What should I do if I do not receive my order?
If you have not received your package within 7 days (The Netherlands) or 14 days (other countries) and no delivery note have been left for you, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
You can return your product within 30 days after receiving it. Please contact us first by sending an email to email@example.com when you want to return your product(s), so we can instruct you on how to proceed.
After following our procedure, you can send your returning product(s) to:

Please be so kind not to wear our products before returning. We will only accept returns of items that have not been worn, used, washed or altered. Returned items must be received with original packaging and all tags intact. The costs incurred for the return shipment are on you. After we receive the product, we will check it and if the return is accepted we will refund the total price of the product(s) you returned through the payment system you used to pay us. The shipping costs incurred will not be refunded.
If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us first by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can instruct you on how to proceed. After following our procedure, simply return the unwanted item (the costs incurred for the return shipment are on you). After we receive the product, we will check it and if the return is accepted we will send you the preferred item for replacement (the costs incurred for the shipment are on us).
What should I do if my products are damaged or if I did not receive what I ordered?
Each product is almost completely handcrafted at our LAB. We take extreme care to make each one as perfect as possible. If any of your products are damaged or you did not receive what you ordered, please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com before returning the product(s), so we can give you instructions on how to proceed.
All sizes of produts sold in our shop at knitwearlab.nl are measured in cm. Please, check the Size Guide of the product and measure yourself to estimate which size would fit you best. Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or doubts about measurements before ordering.
COLOUR OF PRODUCTS & MATERIALS
The perception of colours of products at knitwearlab.nl can vary depending on the screen. Therefore, the colour as seen on the screen can vary a little from the actual colour of the product. We have tried to display the colours of the textile as accurately as possible.

Tell us your wishes and we will discuss all options and the price. Custom-made products cannot be returned, but if there are any defects or misunderstandings on the design, please contact us directly. We will make sure that you are happy with your custom-made product.

Where are the KNITWEAR LAB – PRODUCTS made?
All our products are designed, developed and produced at our KNITWEAR LAB in Almere, The Netherlands. We only work with reputable suppliers that strictly adhere to all the rules set out for the textile industry.

At KNITWEAR LAB we care about the environment and do our best to create innovative and sustainable products with as little waste as possible. We research and select our yarns carefully and always try to get the best quality of certified yarns like Oeko-Tex standard 100, Class 1.
We make sure to produce everything according to our special standard: treat everybody like you want to be treated!
Your privacy is very important to us. All personal information saved on the website will be handled with utmost care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than ensuring the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about your order made on our website. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.
We do not store any of your payment information. Your payment passes directly and securely through knitwearlab.nl to our service provider Mollie. We only work with reliable software partners and take all possible steps to provide you with completely safe access to our services. However, we do not take responsibility for any damage caused by our website or related partners of our website. If the data is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected.
For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database. By using this site, you agree to do so at your own risk and take full responsibility for any failure in use of the site.
We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products and product prices are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
