KNITWEAR LAB is a cutting-edge design and manufacturing company specializing in innovative knitwear products. We design, develop and produce knitwear for international designers, prominent brands and other purposes. We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology in the world of knitwear design. Our head office in Almere – The Netherlands is focused on research, design and product development. At our LAB in Istanbul – Turkey, we take care of high-quality productions in small quantities. Besides, KNITWEAR LAB has its own brand, offering our own collection of scarves, socks and other knitted accessories. Since both our LABs are growing, we are on the lookout to expand our team with new talent.

Description

At the LAB we integrated a 3D workflow, by using 3D technology to enhance the knitting process and visualize the products for our clients. As a 3D Virtual Design Intern you will assist our team of the Virtual Knitting department with translating ideas into 3D visuals and animations. Besides, it could be that you will work together with other team members at the LAB to create graphic artworks for the knitting and marketing department.

Qualifications:

* You are studying, have studied or have work experience in Graphic Design, Interactive Design or studied 3D modeling f.e. gaming
* Strong verbal and written skills in English
* You have experience with 3D modeling
* Skilled with 3D modeling software (at least one of the following: VStitcher, Clo3D, Blender, Rhino, Cinema4D, Maya, FormZ)
* Skilled with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

* Ease with working on platforms like Microsoft Teams or Discord
* A strong attention to detail as well as a hard-working, hands-on mentality
* The ability to take initiative and work independently
* An open minded and inclusive attitude
