KNITWEAR LAB introduces KAITLYN HUI, who joined us in this project, bringing in a lot of inspiration, fresh design vision and passion for knitwear.

ABOUT KAITLYN HUI

The work of New York-based knitwear designer Kaitlyn Hui is rooted in the ocean and saturated with bodies of water. Her fascination with the way the sea breathes is reflected in her knitwear pieces. In Kaitlyn’s creative process, poetry is the language that bridges the dialects of her mind to her reality. It is a conversation expressed through knitwear and textiles, and the garments – a physical embodiment of that conversation. Knitwear collection created by Kaitlyn is focused on the texture of seawater and how one experiences it. It explores transparency and the relationship between water and skin.
